Academy, Brooklyn Children's Museum, The Jewish Museum, Palenville Interarts, South Street Seaport Museum) An environmental comicbook/fairytale to go along with the American Sublime exhibit at the Pennsylvania Academy. WILLIAM PENN AND THE INDIANS (Pa. Academy) Bill Penn, the Nelson Mandela of his time, as the first anti-hero. Commissioned in relation to the Benjamin West painting The Treaty of Penn with the Indians. Photos Promo Page (PDF) THE EARTH CIRCUS (Pa. Academy, Mamaroneck Elementary School) A straight up circus event. The children are grouped into the four elements, Earth, Water, Air and Fire and take turns performing 10 minute segments. They examine their element with streamers, stilts, plate spinning, acrobatics, juggling, music and clown routines. At the end they work together to perform the finale.
